Birthday Cupcakes with Toppers

The order came from a lady, to be delivered to her boyfriend on his birthday. Since she email-ed us much much earlier on from the delivery date, we managed to spend many2 hours to plan and do research on the design etc. As a result, the cupcakes turned out perfect!

And we are proud to say, this is our first time using cupcake toppers - like what you see in the pictures below. Customer requested for the 'dolls' as part of the cupcakes deco. To draw them free-hand may take a longer time than the usuals, hence we decided to use the cupcake toppers instead which we made ourselves, btw. The 'dolls' have a sentimental to the couple. This way, the birthday boy can keep them forever!

It's A Girl!

25 medium sized cupcakes, decorated in baby pink and blue to suit a baby shower party. Cupcakes were nicely packed in the new standard white box with inserts, sealed with gold tape for freshness, tied with pink ribbon as a finishing touch.

They are made of the chocolate moist cupcakes and topped with buttercream icing. We decorated the cupcakes with pink baby booties, yellow duck-y, baby tucked in white blanket, baby's feet and stroller, complete with a congratulation message to the mommy-to-be.

We meet up with customer at Jelatek Station as she was not very familiar with the area. Upon seeing the cupcakes, she sms-ed me later saying how cute they are and that she definitely will order again. Another cupcake order, another happy customer. What a great day of baking that we had!

Okay....so, where do I start?? Huh!

First and foremost, if you haven't realized, the blog was in a mess for a very-very long time! We hired a professional to do the job but unfortunately, we were put on a waiting list till God knows when. While waiting for our turn to come, we decided to try and challenge ourselves a little bit and create our own blog header yang kat atas tu. Nice eh? Not bad at all, we'd say.

So, we decided to revamp our blog here and there. We chose a plain white background to give way to higher quality future blog posts and of course, for better quality snapshots of our cupcakes. We are also upgrading our packaging from the normal white cake box to a see through white box that comes with an insert to hold your cupcakes. So, bye-bye to spills and hello, classy! Uh, and with the new packaging, we are now introducing cupcakes packages in multiples of 12 or 25 pieces. So, it is now very-very easy for you to decide how many cupcakes you want to order. Senang kan?

Uh, and thanks to the ever so supportive customers, recently, we received 4 orders in one day. We booked them all in the calendar so, you can see how busy our kitchen going to be. With that, we are hoping for many-many more posts to come. So, do come back to check 'em out!
